Summon: Esper Ramuh and Slash of Light can certainly perform well, but theres also plenty of times (especially early game) where they simply wont work when you need them to

Even though you cant have two planeswalkers with the same name in play, you can have more than one of the same type of planeswalker in play as long as they have different names

That means cards cant be given Reckless by The Beast Is Mine!, cant have their strength reduced by cards like Maximus Relentless Pursuer, cant be damaged by Smash, or banished by Dragon Fire
