Awareness campaigns enable the Relationships team to inform wide audiences about ecosystem challenges and engage directly with communities on the issues affecting them.
Campaigns have focused on:

Human-Wildlife Conflict (HWC) is a complex and pressing challenge for conservation areas. The Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation Unit is based in neighboring communities so that they can respond rapidly to instances of HWC and guide wildlife back to the protected area. Working with our government partners, the unit promotes safer co-existence between people and wildlife.
The Relationships team engages stakeholders through national exhibitions and community events. They bring people together through traditional dances, movie nights, sports competitions, and other events – building trust, strengthening conservation partnerships, and promoting ecosystem-wide awareness.

Our work depends on the generosity of donors. Your contribution helps the ongoing protection of this crucial part of the Serengeti ecosystem and provides essential support to conservation and community programs.
