The Relationships team shares information, engages stakeholders, host awareness campaigns, and helps address pressing conservation challenges facing people and wildlife. Through their work, the Fund remains informed, collaborative, and aligned with the issues that matter most to our stakeholders.
Awareness Campaigns

Awareness campaigns enable the Relationships team to inform wide audiences about ecosystem challenges and engage directly with communities on the issues affecting them.

HWC Mitigation

Human-Wildlife Conflict (HWC) is a complex and pressing challenge for conservation areas. The Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation Unit is based in neighboring communities so that they can respond rapidly to instances of HWC and guide wildlife back to the protected area. Working with our government partners, the unit promotes safer co-existence between people and wildlife.

Exhibitions & Traditions

The Relationships team engages stakeholders through national exhibitions and community events. Thebring people together through traditional dances, movie nights, sports competitions, and other events – building trust, strengthening conservation partnerships, and promoting ecosystem-wide awareness.
